PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in No.59/BCDFGISSSV/2022 dated 05.07.2022, on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Sundar, aged about 24 years, S/o.Kumar Pandian, now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.5470, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 24.08.2022 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2.Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
