PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 482 BNSS PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.16/2024 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The first petitioner/accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 506(i) and 406 IPC r/w. Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 in Crime.No.16 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent Police and the counsel for intervenor and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the nature of allegations that the petitioner has abandoned the defacto complainant and started living with the third person and considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) that the investigation so far prima facie reveals the said fact, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the first petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as against the first petitioner.
