ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed seeking to initiate contempt

proceedings against the Contemnor/Respondent No.2 to punish him for the wilful disobedidnce of the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No. 3880 of 2022, dated 3.3.2022.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed befoire this Court.

3.By order, dated 3.3.2022, this Court has directed the second respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioners, dated 20.11.2021 seeking for registration of their agricultural lands under the 'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Mima Yojaja' Crop Insuranmce Scheme in order to enable them to get insurance amount under the said scheme and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.In compliance of the said order, the respondent by his proceedings, dated 8.9.2022 rejected the claim stating that there are various claims made by the same family members regarding the said land.Without holding an enquiry, proving their possession and enjoyment by getting appropriate patta,the Petitioner cannot seek this prayer and only on producing relevant documents, their claim can be registered in the crop insurance scheme as sought for by the Petitioners.

5.In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed giving liberty to the Petitioners to approach the concerned authorities concerned with the relevant documents sought for by the respondent, for necessary relief, in the manner known to law.
