Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the objections submitted by the petitioners on 07.04.2025 in pursuant to the seniority list published by the second respondent vide his proceedings in Se.Mu.No.2900/gm4/2024-2, dated 10.03.2025 and to forbear the respondents from operating the said seniority list without disposing the objections, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Junior Inspector of Sericulture seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to consider their objections submitted by them on 07.04.2025 relating to the tentative seniority list published by the respondent Department.
2. The respondent Department has published a tentative seniority list of Junior Inspector of Sericulture on 19.03.2025. The petitioners have submitted their objections to the said seniority list on 07.04.2025. According to them, without considering their objection or without publishing a final seniority list, 2/5
the Department is now proceeding to prepare the panel. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to consider the objections raised by the petitioners in their petition, dated 07.04.2025 and thereafter, proceed to finalize the panel for promotion.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
