This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to conclude the proceedings initiated under Section 107 Cr.P.C., in M.C.No.17 of 2014 (A5), dated 16.06.2014.
2.Section 107 Cr.P.C., reads that the exercise of power under Section 107 can be only for a period not exceeding one year. When that be so, the proceedings initiated in the year 2014 would be valid only for a period of one year i.e. till 2015. Hence, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition.
3.Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
