COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to complete the inquiry and to pass final orders in the proceedings in (Roc.No.A2/32/2012) T.D.P.No.24 of 2012 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

(in all Writ Petitions) COMMON ORDER The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that the relief sought for in these Writ Petitions for a direction to direct the respondent / Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings to complete the enquiry and pass final orders in T.D.P.No.24 of 2012 has already been complied with. A letter of Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, dated 30.07.2019, address to the Government Pleader, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai reveals the fact that the enquiry with reference to the T.D.P.No.24 of 2012 had already been concluded and an enquiry report was sent to the Secretary to the Government, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, for further action.

2.Thus, this Court is of the opinion that the competent authority shall continue the process by following the procedures, conclude the same and take a decision as expeditiously as possible. However, the Secretary to the Government, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, is not impleaded as party respondent in the present Writ Petitions.

3.The common prayer sought for in the Writ Petitions, is to conclude the enquiry proceedings before the Tribunal for Disciplinary proceedings. As the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings has already concluded the enquiry and sent its enquiry report to the Government, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions stand closed. No costs.
