ORDER

The petitioner is having a piece of land at Ponnavarayankottai village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District. The petitioner, with a grievance that the 4th respondent, with the support of the 3rd respondent, who is working as a Tahsildar, coerced him to sell his property to him, lodged a complaint and also filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to take departmental action as against the 3rd respondent to illegally support the 4th respondent.

2. The learned Additional Government pleader, based on the written instructions provided to him, submits that the petitioner is in possession of the property and it has also been fenced. He further submits that an enquiry was also conducted by the Revenue Divisional 2/4

Officer and they found that the complaint is a false one.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to furnish a copy of the enquiry report to the petitioner. No costs.
