ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the Additional District Court No.II for PCR Act cases, Tirunelveli to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Crime No.354 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The petitioner is the third accused for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 49, 296(b), 118(1), 109 and 351(3) BNS and Sections 3(l)(r), 3(l)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 in Crime No.354 of 2024, pending on the file of the second respondent police and apprehending arrest, he has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the petitioner would submit that specific overt act has been alleged 2/4

against the petitioner and that the petitioner is having 18 previous cases as of now.

4. Considering the nature of the offences alleged and also taking note of the antecedents, this Court is not inclined to issue any direction.
