This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner in the post of Hand Craft Teacher with retrospective effect on par with her juniors and similarly placed Teachers from the date of her initial service, ie., 17.06.1963 and to fix the pay of the petitioner in accordance with law and sanction the family pension with all arrears of pay, revised pay and revised pension, 1/3

etc., accrued to her service.

2.Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Linga Durai, learned Government Advocate for R1 to R3. 3.Though the Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to give positive direction to the respondents, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court 4.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: 4.1.The respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.08.

2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
