ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that five cases came to be registered as against the petitioner under Prohibition Act, in which, three cases were disposed, one case was referred and one case is pending for trial in PRC.No.23 of 2024 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukkottai. He would further submit that in pursuance of the red alert memorandum issued by the Inspector General of Police, Enforcement, Mylapore, Chennai, they have invoked Section 110 Cr.P.C.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received any notice or summon from the Police or from the Revenue Divisional Officer.

4.Recording the submissions made on either side, the respondents are directed not to harass the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands allowed.
