O R D E R

The petitioner is a permanent resident of Aaraikudi Village. He alleges that he has been ex-communicated by the private respondents herein, since they could not come to terms with loss in a civil case. On notice, the official respondents make a statement before this Court that there is no ex-communication. As such, the dispute is only regarding conferring of certain honors in a temple festival. This Court will not justified in interfering in such matters. However, the right of the petitioner to take part in worship cannot be denied. Likewise, the petitioner cannot be denied other civil amenities as a resident of the village.

2. It is firmly stated by the seventh respondent that except the matter of conferring of honors, there is absolutely no issue whatsoever. This statement made by the seventh respondent through the learned Additional Public Prosecutor before this Court is recorded.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
