Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the application dated 28.11.2013, submitted by the petitioner school seeking recognition for the school within the time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Subramanian For Respondents : Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, Addl. Govt. Pleader.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner on 28.11.2013, wherein the petitioner is seeking for renewal of the recognition to the school.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 16.04.2021, this Court directed the learned Additional Government Pleader to take instructions and report before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, based on written instructions received from the Block Education Officer, Dindigul, submitted that the school has not been functioning from the year 2015 onwards and no students are studying from the Academic Year 2014-2015.

4. In view of the above, no useful purpose will be served in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.15395 of 2014 giving any directions to the respondents, since the school itself is not functioning.
