the Full Bench of Madras High Court in State of Tamil Nadu Vs Kaliyamoorthy reported in (2019) 6 CTC 705 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to revise the petitioner's pension with all consequential benefits by counting 50% of the past service rendered by the petitioner in the post of 'Part-Time Sweeper' from 23.08.1989 to 01.11.2001, in the light of the judgment of the Full Bench of the Madras High Court in State of Tamil Nadu vs. Kaliyamoorthy, reported in (2019) 6 CTC 705, within the time period stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
