ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent.

2. By the impugned order dated 31.08.2012, the Tahsildar, Manaparai had cancelled the residence certificate issued in favour of the petitioner by the Zonal Deptuy Tahsildar Manaparai.

3. The petitioner's counsel reiterated all the contention set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and called upon this Court to grant relief as prayed for.

4. The specific stand of the first respondent is that the certificate issued by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar has not been found in the official records. The revenue inspector also made a personal visit. The allegation of the first respondent is that the petitioner is not a resident of Thalakulathuppatti hamlet. It is further stated that the petitioner is a resident of Karur District. These are all factual 2/4

aspects. It is not for the writ court to go into these disputed questions of fact. The petitioner has not enclosed any unimpeachable material to show her residence in the hamlet in question.

5. The order impugned in the writ petition is sustained. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
