ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.206 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Valliyoor Police Station, Tirunelveli District.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the defacto complainant is none other than the grand father of the Petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Petitioner is a rowdy element having 28 previous cases. He would further submit that the Petitioner is threatening the defacto complainant to withdraw the case violating the provision under the Code of Criminal Procedure. He would also submit that investigation has been completed and charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor.

4. At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
