Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary steps to measure the land and fix the four boundaries of the land in S.F.No.314/4B to an extent of 0.38.0 hectares, S.F.No. 315/1E2 to an extent of 0.34.0 hectares, S.F.No.314/5C3 to an extent of 0.19.0 hectares and S.F.No.315/1C2 to an extent of 0.24.0 hectares situated in South Elanthaikulam Village, Kayathar Taluk based on the petitioner's applications dated 19.06.2024 and 25.07.2024 within a stipulated time in accordance with law.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.D.S.Neduchezhian, learned Government Advocate has produced a communication that he has received from the Tahsildar, Kayathar viz., the first respondent, wherein it is stated that the online applications are arrayed seriatim and the survey is conducted as per the seniority. The petitioner has submitted his application on 19.06.2024 and the same has been allotted Sl.No.25 and the second application, which has been submitted as recently as on 25.07.2024 is allotted Sl.No.65. As per this serial number, the learned Government Advocate would assure that the survey will be conducted.
