Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent to rectify the UDR and Natham Classification mistakes and issue fresh patta for the lands situated in Natham Survey No.184/4 of Mela Mela Nilai Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukottai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2014 within a period of stipulated time.

representation made by the petitioner on 20.05.2014 wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification of the UDR Patta and for issuance of a fresh Patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Heard Mr.S.Muthalraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Mahendran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.K.G.Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 20.05.2014 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and pass necessary orders within a period of eight(08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
