O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to appoint a competent unbiased police officer to investigate the case in Crime No.519 of 2015, pending on the file of the second respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the second respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.519 of 2015 and they are about to file the final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

3. Hence, at this stage the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered.

Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, however, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the concerned jurisdictional court within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
