ORDER
Heard Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mrs.Christy Theboral, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for Respondents 3 to 5.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for Respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the Peace Committee Meeting had not arrived at a compromise. When the rival parties had not arrived at an amicable settlement, it is difficult to proceed with the temple festival as it give rise to law and order issue. The report of the Tahsildar, Manapparai, is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the date mentioned in the Writ Petition had already lapsed. Therefore, this Writ Petition itself had become infructuous.
