ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide permission and adequate police protection to the Krishna Jeyanthi procession, which taken place from Jakkammal Temple ground to Balasubramaniya Swamy Temple of T.N.Pudhukudi, Puliyangudi, Tenkasi District, which is scheduled to be held on 26.08.2024, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2024. 2.Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that after considering the representation of the petitioner, the third respondent has passed an order dated 19.08.2024 rejecting the same.
4.The main reason assigned is that the petitioner wanted to have the procession in the National Highway.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on 16.08.2024, the third respondent has permitted the School students to conduct rally to create awareness against the narcotic drugs in the same route.
6.When the same was pointed out to the Sub Inspector of Police, who is present before this Court, is not in a position to answer the same. 7.Considering the above, the rejection order dated 19.08.2024 passed by the third respondent Police is hereby quashed and the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation and on receipt of the same, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass orders positively by imposing necessary conditions, on or before 22.08.2024.
8. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
