ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed to issue a direction to the Family Court, Madurai to dispose of M.C.No.57 of 2016 within a stipulated period.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner would submit that the maintenance case was filed in the year 2016 and as the respondent is unnecessarily dragging the matter, for the past 3 years the same is pending. Further, referring to the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007, Tamil Nadu (Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts) Rules, 2007, the learned counsel contended that maintenance case would be disposed of within a period of 9 months from the date of filing. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Civil Revision petition for issuance of a direction to the Court below for the disposal of M.C.at the earliest point of time.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and in view of the Judicial Notification and also the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the Court below to dispose of the M.C. within a time frame.

C.R.P.(MD)No.1691 of 2019 4.Accordingly, the Family Court, Madurai is hereby directed to dispose of the M.C.No.57 of 2016 within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Civil Revision petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
