cancellation of patta in T.S.Nos.53 and 57, situated at Iravathanallur Village, Madurai.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to second respondent to consider his representation, dated 11.05.2023, seeking cancellation of patta in respect of the property situated in T.S.Nos.53 and 57 situated at Iravathanallur Village, Madurai.
2. According to the petitioner, the property situated in the above said survey numbers originally stood in the name of his father. Now, patta has been erroneously transferred in the names of third parties. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the third respondent on 11.05.2023. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
3. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for respondents 1 to 3, submits that the representation of the petitioner, dated
11.05.2023, was already referred to second respondent by third respondent and the same is under consideration of second respondent.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.05.2023, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, fifth respondent, and other interested parties, in whose names the revenue records stand as on today.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) No.15207 of 2025 is closed. 18.07.2025 NCC :
