For Respondent : Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 15 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 506(i) of IPC and 7, 8, 11(1), 11(5) and 12 of POCSO Act in Crime No.15 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant, who is the father of the victim girl, is running a petty shop at his locality. On the date of occurrence, the petitioner went to the said shop and obtained the phone number of the victim girl. He made video call and the same was picked up by the younger brother of the victim girl. Thereafter, the phone was handed over to the victim girl by her younger brother while taking bath. By using the same as advantage, the petitioner recorded the obscene video of the victim girl and threatened her. Hence, the case has been registered against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.17069 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the victim is aged about 13 years old and the accused is 19 years. The accused has recorded the obscene video of the victim girl and threatened her. 5.Considering the conduct and attitude of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
