Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents by taking into consideration o the proceedings in Na.Ka.NO.1538/2012/A6, dated 27.6.2014 of the fifth respondent and O.Mu.5/941/2025, dated 14.6.2025 of the sixth respondent with regard to the mistake crept in during Natham Nilavari Thittam in respect of classification of the land bearing S.No.314/16, of an extent of 0.13.

0 ares situate at Andarkudi Yembal Village, Avudaiyar Kovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District as Oorani instead of entering the original classification as Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani and by making necessary change of classification as Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani in all revenue records as well as digital computerization and to pass appropriate orders of reclassification of the land and consequently direct the respondents to issue appropriate patta in the name of temple namely, Sri Palanivinayagar Koil, represented by is Administrators. The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to make necessary changes in the revenue records by deleting the word Oorani and inclusion of the word Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani in respect of the property situated in New S.Nos.314/16 and 314/24(old S.NO.166) with an extent of 13 ares in Andakudi Village, Avudaiyarkovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.According to the Petitioner, subject property has been in possession and enjoyment of Arulmighu Sri Palanivinayagar Temple Administrative Committee for several years. The Petitioner is one of the member of the Administrative Committee of the above said temple and the Writ Petition has been filed on behalf of the temple.

It is further stated that the temple administration has put up permanent structure for the temple like main temple, temple mandapam, compound walls etc., in the subject land. A Theerthakulam was also constructed and maintained by the Administrative Committee in the subject land. During UDR up-dation, the subject property has been classified as 'Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani'.

'Oorani' instead of 'Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani'. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted a representation before the fifth respondent seeking correction of Natham Nilaari Thitam records by substituting the word ''Natham Pillaiyarkovil land Madathurani'' in the place of ''Oorani''. The said representation was positively considered by the fifth respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1538/2012 Aa6, dated 27.6.2024. The said authority has passed an order directing the Tahsildar to incorporate necessary changes in Natham Nilavari Thittam records .The said order has not been implemented so far. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who appears for the respondents 1 to 6 would submit that the order passed by the fifth respondent will be implemented within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.Since the fifth respondent has already passed an order directing the sixth respondent to make necessary changes in Natham Nilavri Thittam records, the sixth respondent is directed to implement the order passed by the fifth respondent, dated 27.6.2014 and communicate the same to the Petitioner within a 4/7

period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
