ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.06.2014 and pass orders within the time fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to his great grandfather, who has purchased the property in the year 1912. Thereafter, there was a partition among the family members and an extent of 70 cents in S.No.675/1 came to be allotted in favour of the father of the petitioner. After his demise, the property devolved upon his wife, sons and daughters. It is the grievance of the petitioner that during the UDR scheme, the property has been shown in the revenue records as a natham land. The petitioner, therefore, made a representation to the respondents on 02.06.2014 seeking for correction in the revenue records. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.15768 of 2014 Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction. 3.Heard Mr.R.Murali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the impleaded third respondent enclosing all the relevant documents along with a copy of this order. The third respondent, on receipt of the same, shall deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass orders within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a representation from the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
