ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks direction to the 2nd respondent to survey the property situated in S.No.209/9B, an extent of 18 cents, Vadakunatham revenue village. Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District by considering his application dated 12.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property is his ancestral property and the patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner's father Panjatcharam and his brother Suburaj in Patta No.643. The petitioner's father already died. Therefore, as a co-owner, the petitioner submitted an application before the respondent on 12.06.2025, seeking survey of the property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing notice to the petitioner, other legal heirs of Panjatcharam, co-pattadhar Suburaj, neighboring land owners and other interested parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
