PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned selection list issued by the third respondent vide his proceedings NIL dated 12.06.2026 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to follow the rule of reservation for the purpose of admission to regular program for M.Sc., Medical Physics for the academic year 2026-2028 in the 2nd respondent University and consequentially to consider the petitioner for admission to the course of M.Sc., Medical Physics under BCM Category, within the stipulated period fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Challenging the impugned selection list issued by the third respondent vide proceedings dated 12.06.2026, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking to quash the same and consequently direct the second and third respondents to follow the rule of reservation for admission 2/6
to the regular M.Sc. Medical Physics programme for the academic years 2026-2028 in the second respondent University and, consequently, to consider the petitioner's candidature for admission to the said course under the BCM category within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to furnish the details pertaining to the BC category candidates bearing Registration Nos.MP139, MP091 and MP056, so as to enable the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. The learned counsel further sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition, and has made an endorsement to that effect.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submitted that the details relating to the candidates selected under the BC 3/6
category bearing Registration Nos. MP139, MP091 and MP056 would be furnished to the petitioner.
4.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh Writ Petition, if so advised, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
