ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Crime No.242 of 2023, has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.242 of 2023 dated 09.07.2023. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that they have examined seven witnesses sofar and they require some documents to be collected from Telangana and therefore, they require six more months to conclude the investigation.

3. The case in Crime No.242 of 2023 has been registered on 09.07.2023. It may not be proper on the part of the respondent Police to take further time of six months to conclude the investigation and file the final report. However, considering the difficulty posed by the investigating agency, this Court is inclined to grant five months' time to conclude the investigation.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.242 of 2023 and file the final report within a period of five months. 31.07.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes ogy 2/4
