ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take appropriate action on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.07.2024.

2. The petitioner is one of the investor in the financial institution called 'Neo Max' and the said the institution cheated its customers. The prayer is to consider his representation, dated 22.07.2024, by adding him as a victim.

3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that already the investigation was taken up in Crime No.3 of 2023 and 2018 victims have been identified, in which the petitioner was also included as one of the victims.

4. In view thereof, the prayer of the petitioner is answered, it is for the respondents to conduct the investigation in a speedy manner. Since 2/4

the case is also registered under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, the Competent Authority is also directed to apply its mind and secure the properties that are available, so that, the same can be attached at an early date and some relief can be granted to the victims.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
