ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the authorities from constructing a wall in the Western side of the channel, namely, Aruvikarai-Charoor in R.S.No.701/2 from CharrorThiruvattar Road towards the Public Well.

2. On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submit that the channel is running in the North-South direction. Parallel to the said channel, already a road has been laid and there is no possibility of constructing any wall as 2/4

apprehended by the writ petitioner. The said statement is recorded. Hence, no further orders are called for in the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above said facts, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
