For Respondent : Mr.S.Manikandan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :-For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.664 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 336, 353 and 506(ii)IPC, in Crime No. 664 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 17.10.2021, there was some dispute arose between two groups in the petitioner's village, with regard to the erection of Flex Board, due to which, the petitioner and the other accused attacked the police officials and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner and the other accused brutally attacked the police officials and caused injuries. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.17115 of 2021 There are 16 accused in this case and he would further submit that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offences alleged and also the facts that 16 accused are still in judicial custody and that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 17/11/2021 / TRUE COPY / / /2021 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
