This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the First Information Report in Crime No.1672 of 2020 registered on the file of SS Colony police station for the offence under Sections 143, 188, 283, 290, 269 and 270 of I.P.C.

2. When the matter was taken up for final disposal, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that following the order dated 20.02.2021 passed by the Government of Tamil Nadu, further action in the matter has been dropped. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.
