ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 506(ii) I.P.C, in Crime No.257 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 14.08.2022, the defacto complainant was abused, assaulted by the petitioner with knife and also threatened with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is innocent and not committed any such offence, as alleged by the prosecution. The injured also discharged from the hospital. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

4. On the side of prosecution, it is stated that petitioner is having one previous case at his credit and prayed to dismiss the petition.

CRL OP(MD). No.16222 of 2022 5.Though the injured was discharged from the hospital, considering the nature of the case and fact that the petitioner is having one previous case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
