ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his representation dated 23.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, she purchased 10 cents of land in S.No.49 of 2010 in Metupatti Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District under a registered Sale Deed dated 09.10.1986. However, recently it came to the knowledge of the petitioner that patta for the subject property had been issued in the name of 10 persons without notice to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 09.04.2025, seeking cancellation of patta and restoration of the revenue records to the original position. The said representation was sent to the 2/4

respondent on 23.04.2025 by registered post. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be dealt with in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and persons in whose name the patta stands as on today.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
