ORDER

This writ petition has been filed alleging that the petitioner being a member of minority community excommunicated by the majority community from participating in the Temple Festival conducted during the Tamil month of Chithirai.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein, the police has registered in C.S.R.No.44 of 2018 and after conducting an enquiry, they found that the petitioner herein had difference of opinion against some of the villagers and therefore, the present complaint was lodged and after enquiry, the villagers have conducted the Chithirai festival and all the community people in the village have participated in the festival including the brothers of the petitioner by name Pandi and Rasu and the petitioner herein was never excommunicated.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
