[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to issue community certificate (Hindu Navidhar (MBC)) to the petitioner, based on his representation dated 25.07.2014.

2. According to the petitioner, he belongs to Hindu Navidhar Community (Most Backward Class) and he has completed higher secondary course in the year 2014. For joining Nursing Course, he wanted community certificate and therefore, he applied for the same before the second respondent. Since the second respondent had not considered the petitioner's application, he sent a representation dated 25.07.2014 to the first respondent. Even the same has also not been considered. Hence, left with no other option, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the view that this writ petition is of the year 2014, the academic year of the Nursing Course for which the petitioner applied for community certificate is also over, this writ petition is pending from the year 2014 and the petitioner has not taken any steps for the past ten years for early disposal of this writ petition. Therefore, at this juncture, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, if the petitioner is still having any grievance, he is at liberty to approach the authority concerned by making a representation afresh and the same shall be considered by the authority concerned in accordance with law.

4. Granting above liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
