PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the legal heir certificate dated 14.5.2019 and to give a fresh legal heir certificate by including the petitioner's name and his mother's name by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to cancel the legal heir certificate dated 14.05.2019 and to give a fresh legal heir certificate by including the name of the petitioner and his mother's name.
2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 10.06.2019 to the 1st respondent for cancelling the legal heir certificate dated 14.05.2019 issued by the 1st respondent and to give a fresh legal heir certificate to the petitioner by including the names of the petitioner and his mother. But, on such representation no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In agreement with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.20718 of 2019 merits of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- The 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
