This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the remaining bill amount for the works completed by the petitioner in Roc.No. E1/000361/TURIP/Pack-77/25-26 Date- 11.02.2026 by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 03.06.2026 and remainder dated 09.06.2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had made a representation dated 03.06.2026 seeking release of the remaining bill amount in respect of the completion of work under the work order dated 2/5
11.02.2026. However, as the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.
5. The learned counsel further submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
