ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to initiate action as against the sixth and seventh respondents for conducting Kattapanchayat and ensure the petitioner's personal liberty.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, a criminal case was registered as against the private respondents, which was settled before the Lok Adalat, Ramanathapuram on 08.09.2018. 2/5
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent also brought to the notice of the Court that he has received written instructions from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Sikkal Police Station, Ramanathapuram, that the parties have amicably settled the matter and there is no issue between the parties. The said fact is recorded. Hence, no further orders are called for in the present writ petition.
4. In view of the above said facts, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
