Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

2.Though Mr.Sandeep, who has been shown as fourth accused in the impugned FIR is not one of the petitioners, he appeared before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.17160 of 2021 the Court through video conferencing. I am happy to record that the parties have compromised the matter. A memo of compromise has also been filed. The joint compromise memo signed by the parties will form part of the order. In view of the amicable resolution of the outstanding issue, the impugned FIR is quashed and the criminal original petition is allowed. The second respondent herein filed M.C.No.158 of 2019 before the Family Court, Madurai. In view of this compromise, the said maintenance case is also quashed. The defacto complainant has now been paid a sum of Rs.24,000/-, being the maintenance amount for the month of December, 2021. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
