Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in connection with the impugned order passed by the second respondent in A.Thi.Mu.No.1560/M2/14 dated 14.08.2014 quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the second respondent to take file on his appeal dated 14.08.2014 and dispose the same within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner challenges an order passed by the second respondent returning the appeal filed by him against the order of the Regional Transport Officer as belated and filed with deficit court fee.

2.However, without going into the challenge raised, this Writ Petition can be disposed of merely since the period of suspension is only between 27.01.2014 and 27.11.2015, which has long expired. 3.Mr.R.Murugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, fairly states that seeing as the period of suspension itself is over, the petitioner may be directed to approach the first respondent to collect the driving licence. 4.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed.
