ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii), 109 I.P.C, in Crime No.96 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 27.04.2022 at about 09.00PM, the defacto complainant was assaulted by the accused persons, thereby, he sustained injuries on his left knee, right index finger. On seeing the nearby persons, the accused persons fled away from the occurrence spot. Hence, the complaint.
3. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any such offence, as alleged by the prosecution. Since compromise reached between the parties, the co-accused were already enlarged on bail. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.
4. On the side of prosecution, it is stated that petitioner is having seven previous cases at his credit and prayed to dismiss the petition.

CRL OP(MD). No.16265 of 2022 5.Though the co-accused were already enlarged on bail, considering the nature of the case and fact that the petitioner is having seven previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
