Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to survey the land and consequently to update the field map sketch by rectifying the errors, comprising in Sub-division Survey No. 909/3A2B constituting 1680 square feet of nunja land situated at Sankaralingapuram Village, Ondipulinaickanoor, Virudhunagar Taluk, Virudhunagar District based on the petitioner's representation sent to the respondents dated 27.07.2024.

ORDER

On the last occasion, this Court had directed the learned Additional Government Pleader to produce a report stating as to how many applications for survey and demarcation are pending in the Revenue District of Virudhunagar for the last one month and how many have been disposed of.

2. Today, a report has been produced stating that there are totally 41 applications pending of which 25 have been disposed and 16

applications remained to be disposed of. The petitioner's application is listed on Sl.No.10 and an assurance is given that it will be disposed of within a period of six weeks.

3. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's application and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
