PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.166 of 2012 on its file.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C.No.166 of 2012 on its file.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the C.C. is of the year 2012 and some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam to dispose the case pending in C.C.No.166 of 2012 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
