Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 31.08.2019 and give adequate Police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 31.08.2019 and give adequate Police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in respect of dispute over the property, the husband of the petitioner filed a civil suit in O.S. No.105 of 2008 for permanent injunction the same was decreed by Judgment and Decree, dated 11.04.2011 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Sivakasi, even then, the third respondent has disturbed the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's property. Therefore, the petitioner's son had lodged a complaint before the second respondent the same was registered in Crime No.483 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324 & 506(ii) of I.P.C. Considering the facts and circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner in respect of providing police protection in the light of the Judgment and Decree, dated 11.04.2011 obtained by the husband of the petitioner in O.S. No.105 of 2008 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Sivakasi, within a period of Four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
