ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the fifth respondent, who is attached the Musiri Police Station, Trichy District under Section 4(1) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities Amendment Act, 2015) Act, 1989 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2024. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there is a dispute between two community people with regard to 2/4

tapping of water and hence, the petitioner preferred a complaint, however, no action has been initiated.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the third and fourth respondents would submit that though the fifth respondent had issued summons, the petitioner has not turned up, that without attending enquiry, the petitioner filed the present petition by levelling serious allegations as against the fifth respondent. 5.Considering the above, the fifth respondent is directed to issue written summons to the petitioner as well as the private respondent, conduct enquiry and take a decision, within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
