ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to accommodate the petitioner in the entry level post as Junior Assistant or Tax Collector in Theni District in the light of G.O.Ms.No.76, Muncipal Administration and Water Supply Department (Town Panchayats I) dated 31.05.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the fifth respondent. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent. 4.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.06.2019, it would suffice.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.06.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
