O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since we are not passing any adverse order, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is deemed unnecessary. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows:- "to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate steps to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 4 and 5 in S.No.27/4B1 and 19/5 at Devinaickanpatty, Sriramapuram Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District."

3.It is seen that the Revenue Department has initiated proceedings for eviction as early as on 20.06.2024.

4.A perusal of the proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 20.06.2024, shows that the notices under Section 7 has been issued and the order has been passed under Section 6. Despite the same, no action has been taken. The Revenue Authorities are directed to pursue further action and complete

the same within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No Costs. [R.S.M., J.] [L.V.G., J.] 12.09.2024 NCC :
