This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to survey the property situated in S.No.188/8B2B with an extent of 5 cents in Vadapalazhi Village, Madurai South Taluk, Thiruparakundram, Madurai District.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Vellaichamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner purchased the subject property under a sale deed dated 27.03.2008. The patta for the subject property issued in the name of the petitioner in patta No.2458. He submitted an online application on 18.10.2024 in application No.2024/0123/24/009062, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the online application submitted by the 2/4

petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 18.10.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
