To quash the proceedings in Crime No.239 of 2024, on the file of the first respondent, the petitioners have approached this Court. 2.Today(28.07.2025), when this Criminal original petition is taken up for admission, Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the first respondent submits that the investigation in Crime No.239 of 2024 has already been completed and final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Valliyur, on 23.06.2025, through e-filing. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition is closed. Mere filing of final report is not sufficient and it is the responsibility of the respondent police to ensure that the final report is filed without any defects and it is taken on file by the concerned Court within a period of two weeks. It is also the responsibility of the concerned Courts to take 2/4
